If you are a fan of Viking or nordic design, this Valhalla knife has an elegant design that makes a great conversation piece. Besides its epic design, this chef knife is every bit as functional.
The Dalstrong Valhalla 8-9.5 inch chef knife has a high carbon stainless steel blade, celestial resin, and wood handle that feels great in the hand, and I can’t forget to mention the razor-sharp edge blade.
I personally vouge for the sharpness of this knife. To make a long story short, I got distracted the first time I used this knife and I cut one of my fingers quite deeply. With little pressure, this chef’s knife left a clean cut. So, do be careful with this knife, it is not a toy.

My favorite way to hold the Dalstrong Chef Knife is to use a pinch grip method. This allows a chef to have greater control and stability over the blade. Just holding the handle in a standard grip can allow the knife to more easily turn when slicing, making for uneven cuts.
